Up in NYC on a school trip Wed - Fri this week, I noticed this old sign near an entrance to an apartment building... It designates this building as containing a fallout shelter into which people should flee to hide from a nuclear attack by the Soviets... hmmmm.
YEAH, like NYC would have any buildings standing HAD the Soviets launched an attack... anyway... over on Laci's blog there is a reminder of other "atomic issues" and an anniversary of nuclear note... click here
