I found a little book in an antique store that Anna and I were looking around in... it is part of a series called the Philosophical Library, pub. 1949... I was amazed by the title... The World As I See It ... it is a translation of a work written in German by Albert Einstein...
I was facinated... just listen...
"I answer, the man who regards his own life and that of his fellow creatures as meaningless is not merely unfortunate but almost disqualified for life."
then he said this...
"Each of us is here for a brief sojourn [travelin!!]; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he feels it."
and finally this...
"The ideals which have lighted me on my way and time after time given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Truth, Goodness, and Beauty." (his capitalization, not mine)
interesting, huh?
